I had a fantastic stay here, enjoying a lovely breakfast every morning and the privilege of being just a few steps from the beautiful Blackmore Gardens, perfect for leisurely strolls in the park, making my city adventure even more enjoyable.

i had a wonderful short visit to sidmouth again, and this time, it exceeded my expectations at the kingswood. the staff were super friendly, and the breakfast was a delightful mix of locally sourced items. my room was bright, with a lovely sea view that truly elevated the experience.

I had a wonderful short visit, greatly enhanced by the stunning sea view from my room and the excellent breakfast with a variety of locally sourced items. The staff were incredibly friendly, making my stay even more enjoyable. The location, right on the promenade, offered a perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. the parking availability could be improved as it was a bit limited during my stay.

Just a nice choice for a brief weekend stay in Sidmouth with reasonable value. The food was top-notch with a very good variety. Make sure to check for menus near reception to avoid missing out.

We enjoyed our four-night escape, particularly appreciating the changing dinner menu that made each evening special. The staff's attentiveness truly stood out, enhancing our experience. For future guests, consider a room closer to the lift for ease of access if mobility is a concern.

I stayed for 2 nights in a standard single room. It was small but super comfy and clean! Had a cute en suite shower that worked well. The only bother was the noise from seagulls, but it was pretty quiet otherwise. Really enjoyed the breakfast—definitely a highlight! a nice place to crash after exploring Sidmouth.
